Addis Belayneh is a visual artist, writer, and architecture student living in Calgary, Alberta. He studied Cellular Biology at the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2023. His writing primarily explores the complexities of the creative process and the internal struggle of creating.

Addis is currently working on his first exhibition titled Sentimentality, which will comprise of photographs and watercolour paintings of his hometown. His journey in visual arts began with a love for art history, nature, and architecture, which has since evolved into a passion for creating compelling works of art and designs.
